Daylight Saving Time begins this weekend. Spring forward!
Both of the BHS soccer teams picked up big region wins Tuesday night against Valley. The girls took care of business first taking down Valley with a score of 4-1. The Lady Hornets were led by Elizabeth Gonzalez with two goals, Jacky Lugo with her second goal of the season, and Jolette Morado with her first goal. The Lady Hornets are 1-0 in the region.
The boys won an exhilarating game with a score of 4-1 as well. Lester Fuentes had his third hat trick of the year with three goals and Hector Gonzalez tacked one more for good measure. Braxton Daar had ten saves to ensure the Hornets victory. The boys record improves to 4-2 on the year.
Both teams look to keep up their hot streak tonight against Opelika. Girls start at 5 p.m. with the boys to follow at 7 p.m. Come out and show your support! Go Hornets!
The Beauregard High School choir competed at the Alabama Vocal Association State Choral Assessment in Montgomery this week and earned the highest honors, straight ones in both performance and sight singing! Please congratulate any choir members you see, as this is a fantastic honor and they have been working very hard all semester to prepare!
Student Council members, please come by Mrs. Fink's classroom during advisory today (03/05) or tomorrow (03/06) to pick up your t-shirt.
The next meeting of the Silent Swarm Book Club will be Tuesday, March 10 in the media center from 3:05 until 4:05pm. Bring your current book and enjoy an hour of quiet, uninterrupted reading. We hope to see you there!
Students who participate in school breakfast tend to have better attendance rates and fewer behavioral problems.

Lee County Secondary Teacher of the Year:
Congratulations to Coach Shane Lake for being named the Lee County School Secondary Teacher of the Year. Coach Lake will now compete for the Alabama State Teacher of the Year.
2025-2026 Beauregard High School Support Employee of the Year:
Congratulation to Mrs. Patricia Barge for being Named the 2025-2026 Beauregard High School Support Employee of the Year.
Prom:
Juniors and Seniors Attending Prom: Everyone must complete a prom form and turn it into Mrs. Brown by February 27. You must turn in the form. No emailed forms will be accepted. If you need to pay a guest fee, it is due by February 27.
