Juniors and Seniors attending prom: Everyone must complete a prom form and turn it into Mrs. Brown by February 27. You must turn in the form; no emailed forms will be accepted. If you need to pay a guest fee, it is due by February 27 as well. Juniors, see your ACT teacher for a form. Seniors, see Mrs. Edwards, Mrs. Peacock, Mrs. McDonald, or Coach Langley.
Last night the Lady Hornets defeated Elmore County 48-38 in the area semifinals. Kamryn Torbert scored 23 points and Kalise Culbertson scored 13. They advance to play Valley in the 5A Area 7 championship today at Valley 4:30 pm. The boys lost a tough one to Elmore County last night, but the future is bright. Congrats to Coach Bridges and the boys on a great season. The basketball coaching staff and players would also like to say thank you for the support last night from the student section! Y'all really showed up and made it a true home court advantage.
The Happy Accidents Art Club will meet tomorrow (02/11) after school in room E131. Members will be preparing Valegrams for distribution. Remember to bring your candy if you have not already.
Math Team members who are participating in the AU Puzzle Competition, will have two MANDATORY morning practices in addition to the afternoon practices. You will meet tomorrow Wednesday (02/11) and Feb. 18 at 7:00 a.m. in Mrs. Cleiland's room.
True Brew Coffee Shop is now open for student orders, offering coffee, hot chocolate, tea, and lemonade. Please place your order and pay by the end of the day tomorrow. All orders must be paid in full for your beverage to be delivered to you on Friday during 2nd block. Teachers have been asked to post the link in Google Classroom so you can order.
